Scottish Highland Creamery - Oxford

We generally have wonderful experiences at this restaurant, but today was a disappointment. We ordered the Chips Ahoy flavor for our son, and when he tasted it, we noticed a distinct peanut butter flavor. Since his sister has a severe peanut allergy and he has never tried it before, we had to discard the ice cream right away. If peanut butter is an ingredient in that flavor, it really needs to be clearly indicated. This situation left us feeling very frustrated.

What a hidden gem! The ice cream here is fantastic, and I highly recommend trying the lucky charm flavor if it's available. You can also relax and enjoy a beautiful view of the water while savoring your ice cream.

This walk-up ice cream stand offers a wide variety of flavors and options. We enjoyed a cone, a milkshake, and even a non-dairy sorbet slush. The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is that 95% of the seating is uncovered and just too hot to sit on during the day. The only shaded seating is made up of benches along the side of the building where the line forms, which can feel cramped and is often fully occupied.

Don?t wait,this place is a must! The best ice cream in the area and they offer so many unique and fun flavors. This time I got the Small Sundae with Hot fudge and Reese?s peanut butter cups! So good! I also love the Double Belgian Chocolate Ice cream so so much. You will not be disappointed. The people that work here are always so helpful and friendly too.

Best ice cream in Maryland and beyond!! We love this place so much that we go EVERY DAY when visiting the area. They have a great selection, easy ordering, and they are super nice, as well. It?s in the marina, so watching the boats come and go is fun, and they are walkable from most of the town. I?d give them 10 stars if I could.
