Rafters On The Water - Oxford

I've come here in the past, and the food is always good. Today, though, we waited for an hour and a half and never got our food. We also never got a water refill. We did get our appetizer, so we did pay for that and eventually left. This is not to say that Rafters is a bad restaurant because the food and drinks are good! Like any restaurant experience, sometimes there are bad service days and today was one of them.

Horrible place to come for lunch on Sundays. Waited for 2.5 hours for food and it was still not served.

The atmosphere was lively and the live music was fantastic, but unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired, and the food did not impress either. We waited 20 minutes for a waitress to approach our table, and after placing our order, it took a full hour for our food to arrive.

Absolutely terrible! I waited over an hour for my food, and when it finally arrived, I was greeted with a cold plate of tenderloin, sticky, cold grits, a dry waffle, and a piece of sausage that was as tough as leather. To make matters worse, neither the servers nor the management seemed to care at all. I spent $40 on this disappointing meal!

Great spot for brunch! They offer $15 bottomless mimosas, and the place tends to get quite busy. Just a heads up, the mimosas are a bit on the weak side. I would have liked to see a wider selection of brunch food, but the Chicken Biscuit Chorus was quite tasty, and the prices were reasonable. They also had live music and a lovely outdoor area with a bar.
