Proud Larry's - Oxford

The food was good, the service was good, the atmosphere was great. It's all around great place that I highly recommend going to in the square when you're in Oxford visiting OLE MISS!!

The service last time wasn't good. The food was super salty also. I had a chicken fajita salad, which was way overcooked and super salty. My daughter had a grilled chicken sandwich, which was also super salty and tough.

We thought we’d try Proud Larry’s after doing some shopping in the square. We shared a pizza which came out hot and had a great taste. The place got crowded rather quick for the lunch crowd. I would dine there again.

The hostess ripped my outside drink out of my hand and went to throw it away without even asking if I wanted to finish it outside. I understand the role, but I honestly I did not see the sign and she could’ve been more polite about it.

A casual bar and restaurant with generally excellent food but uneven service, ranging from excellent to meh. Very good burgers, reasonable pasta and many like their pizza though I feel Oxford has much better pizza options. I really like their french fries, not sure of the name but like my father used to make, probably a variation of what some call steak fries but only the straight parts without wedges. Can be very busy and can be loud depending on the crowd and time of day.
