M&j Home Cooking Country Buffet

It's exactly what you would expect—just a simple meat and vegetable buffet. However, the fried chicken and fried chicken livers were outstanding!

I've been dining there for six years, and I still have no complaints. The home-cooked food is unique and can't be found anywhere else in the area.

The hostess wasn't very welcoming, but the waitress did a fantastic job. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing, and both my husband and I ended up feeling ill after our meal.

It 's a non-ironic Kuntry Buffet. Truly an exemplary AYCE place. Lots of fresh offerings, it 's busy so foods generally hot and as good as possible. Local favorite. Skip cracker barrel.If you 're a non-Southerner passing through STOP and chat up some folks in line.Really.Once I ate there and overheard a couple on a first date. The fellow was sort of apologetic about the place being casual and etc. Lady allowed that she was a country girl and liked 'this sort of food '.As well as I could tell things went great. Both were teachers, I hope they married and have kids!

Wow! The friendly greeting and service was great. Wasn't sure what to expect but was very pleased with the food that was on offer. The meat selection was ample for the price and the diversity for other ingredients was also surprising. I will be back to this location for sure.
