We had to have lunch. visit oxford for the work. they had rendang suppe of the day. I had the chicken jack. it wasn't a suppe. a kind of chicken stable. large portions. for km that followed us later, had tee cream that was served with butter. km also ordered a double espresso decaf. very loud inside and hot. but around 15 o'clock all quiet and we could chat. the caffe is located in the church and next to radcliffe camera. very historical. the prices were approx. 10 pounds for a main meal.

This self service cafeteria is located inside the Congregation Hall a 14th century building with a vaulted ceiling that was Oxford's first central university building. It serves local, seasonal food and offers just four or five different main dishes each day. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options are clearly marked, and there seems to be a vegan main dish just about every day. There's also a vegetarian breakfast on the menu (again, just ask for no eggs to make it vegan).

Touring around Oxford can definitely be tiring, so we pitstopped here for a late breakfast before we headed back to London. The Vaults is a nice little cafe, with seating both inside and out. We ordered an English Breakfast and a Salmon and Eggs, and both were pretty good dishes for a decent price. Nothing really standout about the dishes in my opinion, but tastes pretty good. We also had some Sicilian Lemonade which was very nice. Good place to relax especially if you're going up the church next door, worth a try if you're around the area.

This is a fantastic caffe and bistro. a great place to get a afternoon snack or lunch. interesting history too! is very crowded. tons of seats in free condition that it is warmer. look at this place safely!
