Bidrage med feedbackIt is unfortunate that this restaurant has closed down and is now just another shop selling Oxford t-shirts. Hopefully, they will reconsider and reopen in the future.
We were excited to visit this cafe, but unfortunately it has been replaced by a clothing retailer. It's disappointing, but there are other cafes worth checking out, such as the Vaults and Gardens in Radcliffe Square, which is not far from where the Buttery used to be.
Access to the restaurant was a bit difficult, but the staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and sufficient, but could use a refresh in terms of decor, as well as the bathroom. The location was convenient, as expected. However, the prices were slightly higher than expected for the amenities provided.
I just went in for a coffee and a croissant, and was not disappointed. This is a cute little place with good coffee and a nice atmosphere.
Went to meet friends for a cup of coffee. It was a sunny day, so I made an order at the counter and sat outdoor. Barely got my order to the table, a waitress came over and literally yelled at us saying that they were closing. It was 5 to 6pm so I thought that we could at least have a few minutes to finish off, however they started closing, taking the tables and chairs inside. A lady stood over me waiting to clean up whilst I was rushing to finish off my coffee and piece of cake. Very unprofessional, moreover embarassing. I would have expected to be notified about the closing time at the counter. I will never go back to this place.
