Bidrage med feedbackStopped here for a coffee, sat outside the front in the sunshine. It is also a vinyl record shop. Lovely coffee, friendly staff.
And excellent service. Apparently coffee is Nicaraguan and beans roasted in Cornwall. An arty unusual cafe with quirky surrounds. Vinyl shop adjacent.
Truck Records is a cultural hub in Oxford, known for serving the most delicious coffee. It is a beloved spot where I first experienced high-quality coffee and discovered a unique independent record shop. The staff is incredibly friendly and can provide recommendations based on your taste in music. Sitting in this cozy cafe, listening to great music, this place truly embodies the essence of Oxford for me.
I am usually hesitant to leave a negative review, but after dining at Mostro shop yesterday evening with two friends who shared my sentiments, I feel compelled to express my experience honestly. The service we received was extremely rude, sullen, unfriendly, and indifferent. Any attempt to ask a polite question was met with with a dismissive and bored response, especially from the bearded gentlemen. The coffee, to be fair, was decent and reasonably priced. However, due to the appalling attitude and service we encountered, neither myself nor my friends will be returning.
Unfortunately this appears to be a hidden Gem, as not many people seem to realize you can get coffee here. This is the best coffee shop in town, and they have the friendliest Baristas, they have this unbelievable power of being able to remember your drinks very quickly, and remembering little quirks to each order. The staff also have a special talent not serve with an awkward silent whilst waiting for your coffee, they will engage you in conversation if you want, and if they are too busy, the customers carry the same chilled out vibe. This place is perfect for a quick catch up/ meeting or even a Sunday chill out. Could not recommend it enough
