Cornish Bakehouse - Oxford

We stumbled upon this quaint shop while strolling down the street and purchased a delicious traditional Cornish pie. It was so tasty that we returned to buy more!

I've been eating sausage rolls from here for ages! They are superb and very good value. Sometimes, when I haven't time for a proper meal, I often head here as I know a couple of these sausage rolls will fill a gap till later. Anybody who has a liking for such tasty treats should look no further!

I love Cornish pasties, but I 'm vegetarian so struggle in a lot of shops. Thankfully this shop has multiple vegetarian options, and yummy, well-priced ones at that. The supposedly award-winning thai chicken curry pasty was, I 'm told, quite nice too.

After a morning of exploring Oxford and taking in the sights, we found ourselves feeling hungry and in need of a quick bite to eat. We stumbled upon a small bakery on Queen Street that offered a delicious selection of freshly baked goods for sale. We decided on a large sausage roll and a Cornish pasty, both of which were reasonably priced. The bakery even provided small ketchup sachets as a complimentary bonus. We found a quiet spot down the street to enjoy our snacks, which turned out to be flavorful and satisfying. This bakery is recommended for anyone looking for a convenient spot to grab a tasty snack to go.

While passing by one evening around 5:30, we were feeling hungry and noticed that the Cornish Bakehouse was still open with only a few pasties left. Despite being the last ones available, we decided to try a traditional pasty and were pleased to find it hot and delicious, not dry or stale. The staff provided friendly service. We will definitely return!
