Bidrage med feedbackI have been coming to this restaurant since my days as a student in 2020, and I must say it is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Oh my goodness.
We must have gone to a different restaurant than Giles Coren. It was expensive and very disappointing, maybe we made a poor choice.
There are fewer Chinese restaurants these days, but Zhang Ji stands out as an authentic and high-quality option. It can get very busy during weekend lunchtimes, but we cannot speak to the evening atmosphere. The lunch hours start at 12:00, but when we arrived at 11:50 on a Sunday, the restaurant was already open and many tables were occupied. We were lucky to be seated quickly and order promptly to avoid any delays. By 12:15, most tables were taken and a queue had formed by 12:45. The following Sunday, we arrived at 12:30 and had to wait in a line. After being told there might be a table in 30 minutes, we decided to leave as we noticed that other customers who were already seated had not been attended to. However, when we returned on a Tuesday at 12:30, we were seated promptly and our order arrived quickly. We highly recommend the Fried Noodle dishes, the Spicy Fish special, and the Sweet and Sour Pork Chef Special. The meat Gyoza as a starter is also delicious. The clientele is predominantly Chinese, which speaks to the authenticity of the cuisine.

The worst food I have ever eaten. We ordered dileroo , it turned up 90 minutes late and cold. We were so hungry by the time it arrived. We struggle some of the food the rest ended up in the bin.The driver was told that the food wasn’t ready ready so he left to do deliveries and came back for our food which had been sitting for who knows how long .
