Branca Restaurant And Bar - Oxford

After a vacation in Spain, I made a resolution to only dine at restaurants that served bread on the table without being asked. Branca not only met this criteria but exceeded my expectations with their delicious focaccia. My wife and I come here occasionally, and every time we love it. Today, I had the prawn linguine, which was very generous with the prawns. My wife had the tuna, which was also very generous. The waitress was extremely helpful, assisting us with our coats and leaving a bowl of parmesan on the table. I highly recommend Branca for a great dining experience.

I have fond memories of this restaurant from over a decade ago, so I was eager to revisit it during my trip to Oxford. The food is still outstanding. Both of us savored a delicious prawn linguine dish, which was bursting with flavorful ingredients such as pistachios. The service was quick and welcoming, and our meals arrived promptly.

I love Branca, but I came with two girlfriends on a Tuesday evening and I just have to say that the food was exceptional. My venison was absolutely delicious and our waiter was charming and very efficient. Thank you.

I met up with some friends here for a catch-up which went on from early afternoon to early evening. It's quite a big place with a restaurant and a cafe. We started off in the restaurant area but had to move when they wanted to get it ready for the evening. However, we could sit in the cafe at the back of the deli. The food was delicious. We had 2 sorts of pizza and several types of salad. All really good, as was the wine 2 of us shared! The staff are great too.

On an Oxford visit recently and managed to have 3 stop offs at Branca! Quick stop-off lunch on arrival in the city, gorgeous dinner later in the evening and a coffee boost with bacon bagel to get ready for the road trip onwards! It's just a fabulous place to spend time, enjoy the fantastic array of foodie goodies on display that look so well created and proudly celebrated. Having booked for evening supper a few months before, we were really looking forward to it. And no disappointments to be experienced… from the friendly welcome, the tasty dishes on offer and the delights of an unhurried time spent savouring the plates and a lovely bottle of wine too! Must go back again when in the area. A real pleasure…
