Restaurant was closed no one answered the phone so could not participate
I was not familiar with the area since it was a weekend visit. Parking was a nightmare as there were only residential parking spots everywhere. We had to park at a parking lot further away than we would have liked. The restaurant staff were not very helpful, and the young girl serving us was unsure and did not offer any suggestions. However, the food was good and I would recommend this restaurant for meeting friends as they offer a variety of cuisine options to meet everyone's needs.
Do not eat the pre-cooked instant corn mash lamb ribs - too bold for my taste. The prices are very expensive. Last time we dined here, the prices were excellent. The waiter touched all of our glasses, which is not safe with COVID-19. Was their shift taken over by someone else?
Slightly disappointed and expensive. We have ordered takeout from this restaurant a couple of times. The first time was great, but the second time was disappointing. So we decided to dine in. We made a reservation for 7pm on a bank holiday, anticipating it would be busy. When we arrived, we were asked to come back in half an hour due to the busyness. We understood the situation and returned, being seated at a nice window table. We ordered two cocktails but were informed they would take some time, which we were fine with. They arrived in the middle of our starter, which was okay. The starter was the grill sharing platter, cooked in the kitchen due to a malfunctioning extractor fan, but at full price. It was expensive for what it was - two skewers of chicken, salmon, and prawn for £20. We tried to ask for a platter with only salmon and prawn as my partner does not eat meat, but the waiter did not seem to understand and brought a mix of the three without the lamb. We rearranged the platter so my partner could avoid the meat. For mains, I ordered the lamb shank and my partner ordered a selection of Indian dishes, which were good. However, the sauce on the lamb shank was very spicy. The cumin greens served with it were delicious but the portion was small. We had previously provided feedback about the spice levels but there were no changes made, making it difficult for me to finish my dish that cost £18. The other Indian dishes were good. With two cocktails, a bottle of wine, a shared starter, and two mains, the meal was very expensive even with the eat out to help out scheme. I am not sure if we will return at that price. For the price we paid, I would expect better service, food, and overall experience. The menus were in plastic sleeves and printed out.
