Mikato Steak And Sushi - Owensboro

I can't believe I stumbled upon this hidden gem in Owensboro! I never thought I would find Korean food in Western Kentucky. I went there at 2 PM on a Tuesday, and it was surprisingly quiet, but the service was still quick and attentive. I chose from the lunch menu and ordered the pork bulgogi, which was absolutely delicious. It came with hibachi vegetables, a choice of soup or salad, and steamed rice. I decided to upgrade to fried rice for just $1, and it was perfectly seasoned with plenty of egg—probably the best fried rice I’ve ever had. I do prefer a stronger ginger flavor in my dressing, but that's just a personal preference. I also tried the kimchi on the side, which was fantastic. I will definitely be returning!

This is an excellent place to enjoy steak and sushi. Everything I've tried here has been fantastic. The staff is extremely friendly, and the owner is a wonderful person. It’s perfect for any occasion. I highly recommend trying the yellowtail nigiri.

Very tasty the food! We took for takeout beef bulgogi and stone pot bibimbof and were delicious! And also tried shrimp teriyaki and sunny sushi, which were delicious!
