Excellent food, very happy to see the establishment back in operation.

The food was excellent and the service was quick. I ordered the fajitas Jalisco, and they were amazing!

Owner took our drink order while she was on the phone. Rolled her eyes when my friend asked for one modification to her food. Not very attentive.

I must say that the rice tasted several days old, and my plate seemed to have been microwaved. That's the only way I can explain how dried out the refried beans were—they looked and tasted like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours (see the photo; it's worth zooming in). The rice was actually crunchy. The tamale was soggy and bland. I received some pushback from the staff when I requested fresher beans and rice, but they did ultimately provide me with some (see the second photo for comparison). The staff member mentioned that she didn't like wasting food, but the fact that she served me that food in the first place was a major warning sign. I ended up throwing away my to-go box because I was concerned about food poisoning, and my stomach began to hurt about an hour later. Even if the food had been fresh, the portion of pork was small and quite dry for carnitas. I'm curious to see how the staff will respond to this review, but I don't think there's any justification for the experience I had. I would recommend avoiding this place.
