Futogenki Japanese Restaurant

Futogenki is now closed, with new owners operating an Okinawa restaurant in its place. Unfortunately, it was closed when we tried to visit, so we ended up going to Yummy Yummy in downtown Owen Sound instead, which was delicious!

Have eaten there a few times and found it satisfactory but nothing 'to write home about '. Appeared to have changed hands recently but haven 't noticed any improvements as yet. Hope springs eternal. It could be so much better and is a needed food service in Owen Sound

Went here for supper last Friday night, service was extremely slow we got things we didn’t order and we didn’t get what we ordered. Had to reorder half of our items, the food was okay, sushi was small and hot dishes were cold. Very disappointed, especially since it cost us 25.00 plus per person.

Went for dinner with family. Food came out fresh and hot. Some dips not suitable to the food (ketchup with cheese sticks). Lots of variety.

Sushi was excellent and reasonably priced. Service was ok. Every roll we had was delicious and well made!
