East Side Mario's - Owen Sound

I 'd probably give 3 1/2 stars for food, service and atmosphere if that was an option. We were only offered one bowl of the 'all you can eat salad ' that came with all three meals we ordered. I 'm sure we could have gotten more if we asked (had to ask for more bread), but back in the day the staff offered it. I feel a little rude asking for some reason. Pasta sauce was a little too hot (too much red chili pepper). Took over 30 mins for order to arrive, which seems long given how basic the meals were.

Super dissapointed. Came here for a birthday in the family and wont be going back. I ordered a build your own pasta and got a handful of noodles and 3 pieces of shrimp. The other people at the table had more pasta as a side dish on their plate than I did as a meal. I go to restaurants often and i have never been so disappointed. On a side note the service was great!

Received cold pasta and sauce, two pieces of chicken and raw broccoli for a build your own pasta dish. Also forgot one other ingredient and the salad. I arrived at 7:40 pm and they close at 9. Server confirmed our order twice. Left disappointed and got a burger at Wendys.

Went to East Sides as we hadn't been there for awhile. Were seated at a table. After 20 minutes, still had not seen a server at our table. The table behind us had a family finishing eating when we arrived. They paid, cleaned the table, sat someone else there, took their drink order, and brought their drink to them, and we still had no one come to our table. We got up and left. Horrible service. Guess we weren't important enough customers to worry about. Will not be going back there EVER again.

Do not order take out. 4 tomato ends only on a family garden salad. The pasta was a kids, and it was mostly tomato sauce. They forgot some of the ordered items as well. Guess that's what you get with a chain restaurant on a Saturday. Lesson learned. Still a massive disappointment.
