Bidrage med feedbackThe “Make A Grown Man Cry” breakfast burrito is a hefty brunch meal that is sure to fill you up. The food at Shack is always quite good. The service and atmosphere are not generally to my liking, but the great food does make up for the difference and explains my repeated visits to their multiple locations around the metro.Kid-friendliness: This restaurant feels like it was created for the family unit to eat breakfast/brunch/lunch together.
The service here seems corporate but our service was great. Truly a great server I think his name was Cameron. Food presentation was great. However, the menu is micromanaged like a Cheesecake Factory. I'll prove a point. One dish came out topped with sausage gravy that has a lot of flour in it only so that it will stay in place on the dish. It's not wrong but tasting flour in gravy doesn't make it better. I get it, you don't want gravy all over the place. Same with the queso on my dish which mostly solid when it arrived at the table but was hot and not melty. More of a sauce with flour in it than a queso. I believe the description of one dish said it would be topped with salsa but came out with Pico which can be a salsa but that's not what they're doing with it. They're using it as a garnish and using red onions in it for pretty pictures. The corporate chef here is truly stuck on clean and tidy on the plate but the surrounding atmosphere and menu tell a different story. They don't match well. Again, service was awesome mostly because his personality succeeded over his corporate training and that is very hard to find and not something that can be taught. Nice work.
We were there at lunch. I had the brioche french toast which was excellent. They were a bit skimpy with the syrup. Our server was pleasant and attentive.Food: 4/5
HAHAHAHAHAH this place is a joke. Genuinely laughable. Staff was drunk during shift and completely unprofessional, bathrooms were untouchable and to top it off the food was disgusting. Can confidently say, I will never return here. I hope the management reads this and does some much needed changes because there is no way this place passes health code.
Went on a Friday mid morning, so it was not busy. Was greeted immediately by a friendly hostess and we were seated right away. That is where any contact with any employee ended. Sat for 20 min with not so much as a single person coming by the table. Place was not busy at all and the table that was seated after us finally had someone come by and take a drink order. Finally just got up and left without a person saying a single word. Odd experience and will not be returning. Food options on the menu looked unique and really good, but never got a chance to partake.
