Bidrage med feedbackThis place is more like a take out place but this nice lady who owns it has some tables which she was glad to dress for us so we could eat there. The place is very clean but it looks like it came out of the 50's and never changed. Farinata is some sort of thin focaccia made with chickpeas flour. It is much more moist than focaccia and it is best eaten hot out of the pan. You need a fork and a knife to eat it as it is rather greasy. I am understanding that the recipe is pretty simple, chickpeas flour, salt and water cooked on a pan over a wooden fire. That's it. It doesn't compare to anything that we have in the USA but it is absolutely worth the try. Not as cheap as you would expect but worth every penny. If you are into exploring authentic regional food, then trying some Farinata in Ovada is a must.
