Bidrage med feedbackVery nice place, good food and awesome shop for souvenirs! people in this place are super friendly too, had a great experience. should come here if you are in fatima!
We went here with a tour group. It’s a cafeteria style place which is relatively cheap, accommodates large groups, and food is ok. Ground floor is a religious item souvenir place.
Our tour group was on our way to visit the Shrine of Fatima and stopped by here for lunch. It was not crowded when we arrived (slightly 10mins past 12pm) but later more visitors and tour groups came by. The restaurant was located on the 2nd floor with the ground floor as a souvenir/gift store, selling local and religious related items. It was spacious and bright. Food choices were quite limited though, with a few key main courses, cakes and pastries, desserts and fruits and drinks. (but for coffee, you will need to order from downstairs, inside the souvenir shop as it has a mini coffee counter there) So we ended up ordering a pasta with chicken set and a fruit tart. While the chicken was ok, quite nice and not salty like others, the pasta was actually quite bland and they did not have sauces to come with it which usually we would ask for sour cream or with tomato puree. So we added some olive oil and pepper powder, it somehow tasted better. The fruit tart was nice and delicious. Staff were friendly and the lady boss was very customer oriented and hands-on. She took the initiative to walk to every table to solicit for feedback on the dinning experience. And just before we left, we saw her downstairs in the open space next to the coach parking, she was trimming the flowers and trees! Generally, the meal here was satisfactory but not fantastic to shout about. But we loved this place, the small little town with nice houses, flowers, away from the bustling crowd in the city!
Pretty nice food. It costs around 15 euro, a nice shop to buy their local stuff too. I got a sling bag
