Timberline Deli Of Ouray

Wow! I haven’t had a gyro in a while, but this one was one of the most authentic and best that I’ve had in a long time. I’ve traveled across the country as well. Love this little shop. The staff was very nice, and great sandwich! Will be back to try more for sure. Can’t wait to try to German Chocolate cake I got to go as well. I live in the next town over. Cheers all!

We stopped in Ouray for lunch at this deli, and generally it was a good experience however, they got both of my husbands and I’s orders wrong. They were quick to correct this, but we noticed that several other customers in the deli, also got their meals wrong as well. It did appear that a male working there was quick to correct these errors and was kind with his service. We did feel that the food was a bit overpriced for what we got, as well. Nothing terrible about the place, but likely won’t be going back!

We had a delicious breakfast!! The service was amazing! We will definitely be back.

After missing dinner because of an overnight snowfall, I was feeling ravenous the next morning and the search was on for a breakfast restaurant. Many of the restaurants advertised open hours on Yelp, some even had OPEN neon signs in their front windows- NONE were actually open !! Frustrated, I turned around to head back to my hotel room and found Timberline Deli , open and welcoming customers. I was ecstatic ! The breakfast burrito with hash browns was made to order and delicious. My smoothie and coffee were also top notch. The owners were small-town nice, so lovely to chat with... all around 5 star recommendation !

My husband and I stopped for lunch today. He had the Elvis burger and said it was awesome. They did not skimp on the toppings. (Much better than the burger at Maggie's kitchen we tried earlier in the week and although it was ordered medium it came out very rare. The burger was well cooked and juicy and the fries were cooked fresh! I had the turkey, bacon, and avocado sandwich on rye. It comes with fresh sprouts! All the toppings and bread on our sandwich and burger were very fresh. We also tried a donut which he heated up for us. It was excellent!! Sorry we shared one we each should have had our own donut as it was very fresh and tasty. We are going back tomorrow for breakfast and two donuts. The deli was also VERY clean.
