Mr. Grumpy Pants got his name for a reason. Made me feel like a complete idiot for ringing the bell for service (he was sitting at the bar with friends. Silly me for not knowing he was the beertender). Beer was unmemorable.

Very unique place. 5 stars for atmosphere and 3 for beer. Must visit for any beer fan. Warning the hours are short and subject to change. Owner is an ornery curmudgeon that may seduce your women

We found this place on our honeymoon. After a run at the other brewery just up the street we found the best beer place in Ouray right here. We did not have a bad beer during any of our visits to this fine establishment. Our favorite was his Stout. Not overly harsh with tannic flavors you might find in other stouts. The carbonation was perfect for all of his beers unlike the other place. The atmosphere was awesome for a small town brewery. Make sure it is on your bucket list of things to do in Ouray.

Fantastic IPA and down to earth ambience. Great place without any pretense or desire to please the masses . Mr. Grumpy Pants wasn 't so grumpy ;
