Petit Peru Hull - Ottawa

A few years back, my daughters celebrated their birthday at this restaurant. The staff was friendly and had the horses ready for my girls and their 8-10 friends.

After waiting 15 minutes for a menu, the waitress struggled to take our drinks order in French. 45 minutes later, our two appetizers arrived. Food was ok, a little overpriced, but the wait was ridiculous and service inattentive. There were only 2 other tables to serve so no excuse there. Suggest the waitress put down her bookface or snap-whatever and do her job. Will not go back.

We have been looking for a good ceviche in Ottawa since our first trip to South America in 2013. We have found it at Petit Peru! Nice décor. Friendly staff. And awesome food! Now licensed. We had the Ceviche Petit Peru, a combo plate for 2 people of Ceviche Misto and Seafood Jalea. $28. Very nice platter and lots of food for 2. Look for the Groupon to get $10 off! Will definitely visit again!

Nice Peruvian restaurant They have moved to this new location and just opened a month ago.We had empenadas very delicious.

Although we really enjoyed both the chicken and beef empanadas I was not crazy about my main dish which was tepid rice dish made with garlic, ginger and chicken. It was described to me by our server, as a Chinese and Peruvian fusion.
