This is the place to get indian food in Orleans.__I've been trying different things from their menu each time I visited this location and was never
Eating the beef vindaloo here is a near religious experience for my husband and IPerfection in our opinion.
This was my first visit to this restaurant. We ordered the combination platter with butter chicken, beef stew, vegetables, rice and naan bread. The food was very good and the prices are very reasonable.
Visited here last night with two friends upon discovering the restaurant we had planned to eat at was closed. Service was pleasant and very attentive. The papadams served at the beginning of the meal were very tasty as was the nan. We shared four dishes: lamb vindaloo, butter chicken, sag paneer and an eggplant dish. The lamb vindaloo was the best - a little spicy and very flavourful. The butter chicken was ok but not as creamy as I'm used to and an odd pink colour. The sag paneer was also ok but I found it a little dry and the texture again different than what I've had at other Indian restaurants. The eggplant dish didn't have a lot of flavour. In the front of the menu it says that prices might be a few dollars higher than listed due to rising food costs. They'd be better off changing the menu so people know the exact prices of every dish. The bill came to about $95 which I thought was a little steep for the food we'd had with just one beer each but all in all it was an ok meal.
