Mexi's Orleans - Ottawa

I used to love Mexi's in the past, but the one in Orleans needs to improve. Simple things like ensuring clean tables are important, but all the tables we tried were dirty, even though it had just opened. The server never checked on our food, and we had to get up to ask for the receipt, despite there being only a few customers in the restaurant. The management needs to be better all around. I hope they can improve soon.

Haven't been there for some time but recently went Saturday for an event and to my surprise we order the fajitas for two.. wow my wife and I hadn't had this happen before that we were overwhelmed with the plate sizes and amount of veggies on the skillet that we could not finish our plates.. side plates of lettuce guacamole cheese beans and rice was awesome. I believe my wife and I found our new favourite fajitas spot as the others can NOT compare (The Lone Star Bar Grill)

I went with my granddaughter on March 14th to have some fajitas. I paid $150.00 for two and it was terrible. The beef fajitas were made with top sirloin and were full of gristle. I inquired about nachos with red sauce while we waited and was told they didn't serve them. However, a few minutes later they brought out nachos and red sauce to the table. By then, we had already ordered chicken nachos which arrived quickly. I was charged for the plain nachos with sauce. I will not be returning to Mexi's again. The whole experience was disgusting and the price was a rip-off.

I went to Mexis for the first time last night and was quite impressed. The service was excellent, with friendly and outgoing staff. The restaurant was not too busy, so it was nice and quiet. The food was decent, typical of a chain restaurant serving tacos. My partner ordered the burrito bowl, but was disappointed that it came with a lot of tortilla chips instead of lettuce. He said it was good, but would have been better with some lettuce. My tacos were tasty, although I wish I had been warned that the refried beans were quite spicy. Overall, it was a good experience.

Their food is really good. The service was great and it is a nice place to dine out. I know the opening night was a little hectic but they got the hang of it quickly. I really like the place. I had nachos and fajitas.
