McDonalds - Ottawa

My wife, two older children, and I decided to have dinner at this restaurant. My wife and I ordered the Burger sandwiches, while our kids had the Happy Meal Nuggets. Although there was no children's playground, we still enjoyed our time together. The food was standard, but we would consider returning to this place when in the area.

This review is for today, but it could easily be from any of the many times I have visited this restaurant. Even if you were to pay the staff here a million dollars, they would still manage to mess up your order. It could be something as simple as an ice cream coffee, and they will forget to give you a straw or rush you away from the pick-up window so quickly that you need to go inside to get one. This happened to me today. When I asked for a straw because the drive-thru didn't provide one, the manager appeared angry and handed it to me without saying a word. It is frustrating when it takes multiple visits for them to get your order right, or at the very least, not forget something. I have tried speaking to managers, emailing the franchisee, and even reaching out on social media, but nothing seems to change. The service is consistently terrible. Save yourself the trouble and money by going somewhere else. This place is not worth your time.

Every time I get to this McDonalds it is always the same....Order screwed and forbid heaven, you should order extra sauce. The nuggets are a hit and miss in my case always a miss out for some reason or cold I can probably count... how many were good. The fries are always cold! Today I went back on the ride thru and waited until 6 cars went a head from me then after I honked my horn someone came up saying that she was with me in a minute and went away to order the next guys. These were a total of 7 cars in front of me that are completely unacceptable... I'll go to this place twice a week and I'll close and never return my order well. The only reason I go there is because of my son, but no longer will I drive the extra 40 km to Arnprior....

The order is always very slow, or the sandwich they give is messy as possible. In the last month, they managed to melt at least one coffee in order.

Food quality was great, I really enjoyed the decor, the cashier was friendly and the restaurant was very clean.
