La Terrazza - Ottawa

I made a reservation at La Terrazza for Friday evening at 7 PM and even confirmed it through OpenTable the night before. When I arrived at the restaurant, the lights were off and it appeared to be closed. I attempted to call multiple times over the next half hour, but received no response. As a result, I had to scramble to find a last-minute table at another restaurant in Little Italy, which was extremely frustrating since most places were already full. Overall, I found this experience to be very disappointing due to the restaurant's lack of communication.

The hostess was fantastic in directing us. My sister and I tried to visit this restaurant, which was undergoing renovations. Being new to the city, we weren't familiar with the area. After some searching, we finally found the place, but it wasn't what we had anticipated, as they only offered drinks and no food. When we arrived, the kitchen was closed, and they were only serving charcuterie boards. On the bright side, the music was lively, but we decided not to stay because we were looking for a proper dinner.

I made a reservation in advance, but when we arrived, we were disappointed to discover that there were only three options for charcuterie boards. We decided to go with it, as we had enjoyed their food during previous visits. However, this time, the selection was reduced, and the board felt lacking.

Got a charcuterie board which looked nice and tasted good, but I am rating low because I got home and had an upset stomach. Something mustn’t have been very fresh…

I then had to try to find a last minute table in other restaurant for this event in Little Italy, which was incredibly frustrating as most restaurants were full.
