Bidrage med feedbackThis was our second time visiting this restaurant, and it was just as good as the first time. We started with a delicious vegetable pasta appetizer that came with some tasty sauces. For our main course, we had 2 servings of cattle Biryani, a chicken Vindaloo, and a Dal curry. The flavors were fantastic and the spiciness level was just right. The portion sizes were generous and the prices were very reasonable. While the service can be a little slow at times, overall it was good. This is definitely a place we would return to whenever we are in the area.
Despite its somewhat unusual name, this hidden gem in the Byward Market served up delicious and delicately flavored dishes. The service was excellent, and in our 5 days in Ottawa, we went back twice! Our favorite dishes were the Chettinad, Lababdar, and the absolutely delicious dal makhani.
We have visited many Indian restaurants both on our own and with Indian friends, and we consider this restaurant to be one of the best. The veggie samosas were among the best we have ever had. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and we enjoyed dishes such as Panjabi Kadhi, Roti, Parantha Tandoori, and Raita Mint. Highly recommended.
My daughter to me here for Mother's Day. It was good food and desserts all the way with super polite, friendly, amazing and welcoming servers. I'm going back.
We ate here on St. Patrick's Day. The place isn't fancy, but clean and welcoming. We started with 2 orders of samosa, which were very good and large. They came with 2 sauces, a tamarind and a mint. For mains we ordered 2 chicken vindaloo,...one regular and one hot. They were delicious and the hot was quite spicy, which was great. We also had a chicken biryani, and a gobi dish, along with beer and wine. Everything was very tasty! The service was very pleasant and attentive. The prices are excellent and the portions are huge. We all had left overs! Will definitely come back when we're in the Byward Market next time
