Huong Vietnamese Bistro - Ottawa

Delicious food and friendly service.The restaurant is open for take-out during the covid-19 pandemic. Their food is well-packed and prepared very quickly.

Huong's is one of the gems in Ottawa's flourishing Vietnamese food scene. Overall quality is good, and it's the best or only place in town for certain hard to find dishes like bánh xèo, bún riêu, bún chả cá, bột chiên trứng, and hủ tiếu sa-tế. Free parking in the lot across the street after 5pm on weekdays and all day on weekends.

Most authentic Vietnamese cuisine. I love this restaurant, especially for being true to the vietnamese cuisine. As much as I am not particularly picky, but I am with vietnamese food (since I am vietnamese). <br/ <br/ I would recommend trying their Hanian style chicken dish, pho, rice wraps, bun Bo hue (spicy beef broth soup), Bun cha ca (Fish patty in broth with vermicelli) and just almost everything on their speciality menu. Don't be afraid to try various dishes.<br/ <br/ The staff are also wonderful and efficient. Only thing negative, is finding parking, but again it's location falls between Chinatown and Little Italy.

The BEST Vietnamese food in Ottawa, hands down. Broth is perfect, and you can't go wrong with any of the vermicelli dishes. Their Vietnamese spring rolls (deep fried rice wraps) are so, so good. After going to Vietnam and having real Vietnamese food, I can confidently say that Huong's is the most authentic experience in Ottawa. Highly recommended.

This place is awesome. The regular menu is aimed at individuals not familiar the Vietnamese language. Having some familiarity with it, I order off the white-board and the regular menu. <br/ <br/ If your are not adventuresome, and stick to the menu, you will not be disappointed.<br/ <br/ What would be best is if the white board was also in English. This place could introduce Ottawa to the wonderful varieties of Vietnamese cuisine.<br/ <br/ Excellent.
