Bidrage med feedbackI visited this restaurant to sample their custom Poutine, a must-try dish in Canada. I opted for the spicy chicken option, which was both filling and satisfying. The dish consisted of fries, sauce, fried chicken, cheese, and a selection of toppings such as tomatoes and olives, similar to what one might find at Subway. I enjoyed the flavors and heat of the dish, as opposed to the preference for cold dishes among many Westerners. Overall, it was a tasty and satisfying meal.
The hamburgers were tasty and well-cooked, although we felt that the toppings were a bit lacking on each burger. The Fish Sandwich was just okay, not as delicious as we had hoped. The French Fries were good, but the portion size was small. Overall, the food was decent, but not the best we've had. Atmosphere: The restaurant was fairly empty when we arrived, but it was clean and spacious. The pictures of the food items behind the cashier were large and clear. Service: The cashier initially seemed confused when we placed our order, but she was able to assist us when we had questions. The person preparing our food was kind and patient as we chose our toppings. The service was good for a fast-food restaurant. Cost: 2 Original Hamburger Combos (1 with French Fries, 1 with Onion Rings): $10.99 with CAA discount 1 Fish Sandwich: $4.99 Total with taxes: $18.05 Would you return? If I wanted a fast-food hamburger in the future, I would come back to this restaurant.
I was staying at the Cartier and was on the prowl for a meal. I decided to check out the local Harvey 's location, to see what the fuss was about.<br/ <br/ In contrast to other fast food chains, just because it 's 'fast-food ' doesn 't mean that it has to crappy food. And, while Harvey 's takes the time to allow its patrons to custom build their burgers, it also means that the end product is far more satisfying to the consumer. So, I 'll stick with the Harvey 's method.<br/ <br/ The Angus Bacon Cheeseburger was excellent, and being from out of town, I figured I 'd try something different to go along with it, so I order the original Poutine. OMG. Gravy and cheese over french fries. Heaven in a bowl. Just fabulous stuff.<br/ <br/ So, why four stars, instead of five? While the food was great, the overall appearance of the restaurant needs an upgrade. Looks old and run down. Kinda diminishes the experience.
Really much better than Mcdonald's on the same street.Their customizable burgers are best.I have tried everything here and its a very good fast food restaurant.
I was in downtown Ottawa on Friday, running errands. After finishing, I decided to grab lunch and stopped by the Harvey's location at 216 Elgin Street. I arrived just after 11 A.M. and found no customers, with the workers getting ready for the lunch rush. I ordered the Original Hamburger Combo, which included a burger, fries, and a drink. The burger was quickly prepared and topped just the way I like it. I enjoyed my meal at a booth, reading some material printed on newsprint. The hamburger was warm and tasty, a truly satisfying lunch experience. Harvey's definitely knows how to make a great burger.
