Harbin Chinese Hā ěr Bīn Lǎo Dào Wài Shā Guō Jū

The first time a friend told me to try. The food is bomb! Everything was just so delicious and seasoned right. Will come back to try other dishes :

Excellent authentic food with great portions. Rice felt steep at 2$ a small part, but it makes for him with large amounts of high quality food. Could use some more spiciness for me for the fish in chilli oil, maybe next time I will ask if we are here.

The first place I ate after the landing in Ottawa was Harbin. My family and I like the food here. I am from New York City, and there are many tasty Sichuan food, e.g. Szechuan Mountain House, but Harbin captivates my mind like no other restaurant in Ottawa. Above all, are we the Mao Xue Wang ???????, Sichuan Mala Chicken Cartilage ??????????, Szechuan Kohl and Fisch????????????????????, Stir-Fried Chinese Cabbage and Wood Ear with Black Vinegar, and many more. The chili oil that they use has a great balance of ma numbness and la spiciness. Last but not least, prices in Harbin are cheaper compared to similar quality restaurants elsewhere. On the one hand, it would be in my best interest if this restaurant continues to remain the hidden jewel that it was so far, i.e. shorter waiting times for me, less crowding, etc. . On the other hand, the owners and chefs are so amazing people that I hope more food enthusiasts come in the area to know and try this restaurant; I have no doubt that if they do, they will also agree that this is one of the most delicious and authentic Chinese restaurants in the region. My regular place was closed unexpectedly today, so I came here... Amazing!!! I can't wait to try more dishes. I never tasted these flavors in other Chinese restaurants in Canada. I wish my legs fit under the tables (they are very low), but otherwise, great experience.

Awesome! I've seen other reviews, and I think Mara's taste can feel alien. The sauce is different from the existing American Chinese restaurant. I was satisfied and I keep thinking. I want to visit again as fast as one can
