Golden Tiffin - Ottawa

Recently, my husband, some friends (another couple), and I had dinner at this restaurant.

I was surprised to discover this hidden gem of a restaurant right here in Bells Corners.

The restaurant offers a mostly Indian menu with great appetizers and deliciously spiced meat dishes. The naan is particularly outstanding. There is ample parking available and the atmosphere is clean. The host is welcoming and friendly.

Dropped by with my son for a late lunch. Ordered two Thali platters, when one could have fed us both. Only one other table in there, so service was very quick and attentive. Owner offered to refill our curry, rice and naan bread, as he said the lunch Thalis have replaced the buffet, but we were too stuffed to take him up on the offer. Curries flavourful and well spiced, naan bread was soft and warm.

Go for the super excellent food and enjoy the warm friendly atmosphere as a bonus. It was my second visit. We started with onion baji and samosas. Yum! We had lamb korma, beef vindaloo and vegetables with Naan and rice. You can choose your spice level too. We wrapped up the leftovers. It's Pakistani style Indian food done to perfection. Can't wait to go back!
