On a bustling Canada Day evening, the terrace was completely packed with people beyond our expectations. However, the service was simply fantastic, with attentive waitstaff.

I visited the restaurant on a busy Saturday night around 10pm and it was crowded, just like the other restaurants in the area. I ordered some sliders and a water, and my water arrived promptly.

Let's start with the good bits. The coffee was wet, and there was Pink Floyd on the sound system. The rest? Oh my goodness. Coffee that looked and tasted like sludge. Servers who had absolutely no idea what was going on. The worst blueberry tart I have ever tasted - it also looked like it had exploded in the microwave. All for 13 dollars Canadian. Awful.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and it was exactly what we were after. A couple very good smoked meat sandwiches and salads. Would definitely go back.
