Carlingwood Tavern - Ottawa

This review is for the Petes Pizza Bunting Road location. I have been a customer here for years and the food is always consistently excellent.

I like trying new restaurants, but this one was not impressive. Calling this pizza "good" is like saying frozen pizza from the grocery store is gourmet.

I was craving a cheese slice but they only had pepperoni slices, so I didn't get to try the pizza unfortunately. However, I really like the name of the restaurant - try saying it fast three times!

The appetizer plate was delicious. The main dishes were great. We ordered butter chicken and sak shrimp .It is a very nice place to dine in . It is very clean and the food is restaurant quality and the waitress is really nice and professional. It is different from all the Indian restaurants I have been in. I could say it’s probably one of the best.

Carlingwood Restaurant has what you need for a great meal at a great price.Service is quick and friendly if you are in a hurry or you can relax. The menu has lots of variety for both adults and kids.It is also fully licensed! The pizza is incredibly good and my favorite for a quick lunch is the club sandwich with the most amazing coleslaw.You can't go wrong stopping in at this family owned and run restaurant.Enjoy!
