Brown Loaf Bakery - Ottawa

Their fresh sourdough bread is so cheap and yummy, could not even help myself from finishing half the loaf on the way back home in this weather you will have finished it and gone back for seconds, thirds and fourths before you even know it! Well worth making the trip for even in a snow storm!

Local guy, bakes cool food. I love my coffee and biscotti. I make a special trip downtown for this guy. It adds to my day. Comfort food.

Got the sourdough bread and croissants today. So soft and flavourful. Really great service too!

Went in here by chance, picked up an olive loaf. It was very nice, would go again.

Amazing, underestimated little bakery. people should come here more often! it is led by a beautiful Chinese couple. their selection of baked goods is amazing. simply try the ice blanket and the lemon melissas covered with marshmallows and simply melts in the mouth.
