Bramasole diner - Ottawa

I have been a regular at this restaurant for some time now. It is my stepfather's favorite place for a quick and affordable breakfast. However, when we visited last weekend, the service was incredibly poor. We witnessed people getting up and leaving because no one had attended to them. But that was not even the worst part. We also saw roaches. It was difficult for me to finish my food after spotting them on the wall near the kitchen. It is definitely time to look for a new favorite breakfast spot.

Best brunch spot on bank for traditional diner style breakfast. They are cash only, but features the cheapest dine-in breakfast I’ve seen in centre town yet. $19 for this monster of a plate, and their &3 coffee is bottomless. Immaculate vibes, and lady is very friendly as well.

Went with my girlfriend on 2 occasions. First time we were served by the older gentleman. Was a great experience. The second however we had gone in, stood for a few minutes waiting to be noticed. Once we were noticed we were not approached, instead the same older gentleman from before who once was courteous and showed us to our seats now just pointed and went back to what he was doing. When I walked by him I said thank you but got no response. My girlfriend and I then proceeded to wait to be seen for 20 minutes. Once finally seen by our waitress we received a “hello” as she sat down our menus and just silently left. No drinks were asked, or food. No small talk, no apology for the wait, nothing. My girlfriend and I immediately decided we would not pay for an awkward breakfast with terrible service so we informed them we would be going elsewhere to which the waitress said “oh, alright ok.”… I used to love this place but this experience has made it so we will not be returning. Such a shame.

Been here before with great service. Today I came in was told to sit wherever then wasn’t greeted. After 5-10 mins I grabbed menus for us… then 3-5mins later another patron walked in (I guess a regular) and she serves him.Not coming back unfortunately, off to eddy’s diner I go. Pretoria cafe is also a good alternative

Eat and price super. service boo. I am more than a few picturesque here and eating is always great. the service is never amazing. often you need a past to be served, although it is a small restaurant. but I'm going back. I enjoy the mood and eat it myself.
