Chez Anh - Ottawa

Made a large reservation at Chez Anh. Got to sample all three items on the dinner menu and even got some custom cakes made for our party. Everything was delicious and service was great! Highly recommend visiting this hidden gem in Old Ottawa South!

Was there for the soft opening and the place is fantastic! It's a cozy new restaurant with an amazing Vietnamese-French fusion menu and solid price/portions. The owner, Anh, swiftly puts your dish together and serves you himself! There's nothing better than local businesses, where you can clearly see the owner putting their heart and soul into it! Highly recommended; hard to recommened one dish since everything we tried was perfect!

Tried something new both times I went and was blown away. Definitely going back the owner/chef is fantastic and the food is mouth watering. Highly recommend!

The diversified menu and specials form a rich tapestry of delectables that manage to titilate the senses while somehow managing to keep things simple. The speciality for the soft opening today was a Matcha Cheesecake. This cake's crust was made from macaron crumble. Absolutely divine. The Panna Cotta was heavy and flavourful. The appetizers and main dish were well-made Vietnamese restaurant staples. The place is cozy, but the windows open up fully, which allow you to enjoy the tone of a nice spring day. I will definitely be returning.

I went there at opening time for the first visit ever. The new employee was almost apologetic about the possible time it would take to prepare my meal, but I assured her it was just fine. I needed rice paper rolls for takeout anyway. The food was freshly prepared before my eyes, not previously done and refrigerated. The sauce and ingredients were spot on. I have to go visit again for a full sit-down meal!
