Bazille – Nordstrom Rideau Centre

While passing through Ottawa, a friend strongly recommended that I try this restaurant for lunch.

The lunch menu is simple and limited. However, each choice is very good. We ate on the patio which happens to be on the roof of a shopping centre complete with trees, grass and... wind. They do also have tables inside, where a transparent wall allows you to see what is going on in the kitchen if that is what you want

Excellent margherita pizza, peaceful atmosphere, very ordinary service. I will go back there

Always good service, food and time. My only criticism is that the salad wasn't as fresh as it could be and the wineglass is over the top expensive for the wine selection available
