Beautiful structure, tastefully furnished, managed and organized with obsessive care by the owners for almost thirty years, so much so that it seems to have just been inaugurated, precisely because it is always growing. The location is perfect, close to the sea, just outside the center of Otranto. The dream breakfast: rustic, focaccias, tarts, plum cakes, cakes, cured meats, cheeses, fruit... served in the splendid veranda room. A home where respect is required towards those who work there with passion and towards other guests. In a perfect world it would not be necessary to underline some rules, normal education would be enough. Well, if you are educated and understand the value and attention that goes into giving an impeccable service to the public, this is the place for you. An enchanting Masseria where you can relax and enjoy your holidays in a peaceful atmosphere. You also benefit from the kindness and valuable advice, culinary and otherwise, of the hostess. We stayed in early September, received a great welcome from Geramana the manager. Close to Otranto, and you can readily drive across to Gallipoli and down to Santa Maria Di Leuca. We had one of the two level rooms which was very roomy, with the bedding was changed very day and my wife loved the mattress! Breakfast was very good two tables laid out with food to help yourself, loved the melon and the breads. When having a day in by the pool the staff were attentive making sure you had plenty of towels and ready to provide drinks or snacks. We ate in two nights, meals were one choice for each of the 3 courses, but each one was tasty. We loved Otranto, so if we ever plan to come back it will to be here. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

A stunning little gem on the outskirts of Otaranto overlooking the coastline. Masseria dei Monaci is ideal for those looking for an idilic relaxing setting, the hotel is set in large secure grounds with ample parking for guests. A five minute drive or 20 minute walk to the centre of Otaranto. The staff and service they provide professional and courteous at all times, it was amazing to sit relaxing around the quite pool in such beautiful surroundings. The gardens surrounded by olive and palm trees provide several quite cosy corners that you are sure not to be disturbed. The the rooms are spacious, downstairs a small living area with comfortable furniture. The bedroom a mezzanine area just above, with a large comfortable bed and Tv. Breakfast is representative of local cuisine and there are options to dine in during the evening. This place is stunning and provides plenty of space if you are planning a function/wedding.
