Great small pub, love it here, always a great selection of fresh traditional real and craft ales.

Twice winner of the Leeds Camra pub of the year and properly independent privately owned pub. It has an excellent selection of beersand occasionally has festivals featuring beers from a certain part of the country. It doesn't have a menu but has sandwiches in the afternoon and it is dog friendly

Had a few pints with friends after work.. As always plenty of happy drinkers saying hello and enjoying their drinks. Very friendly great selection of beer and they brought it to our table.

Being a fan of 'proper ' pubs and good real ale, this superb bar was a great discovery. A warm welcome, great prices, spotlessly clean and a warm atmosphere, in an 18th century converted cottage. Well done to all who run this place. There’s only one downside….I don’t live next door!
