Taqueria Almonga - Othello

This will be the THIRD time I've tried to write a review of this place. If Google removes it, again, then I give up. We loved the food here. You will find menu items that you will never see in large city Mex restaurants. I had Chicharrones en Verde Salsa, and the green sauce was wicked hot, and delicious. And, they give you a proper amount of fresh tortillas with your meal, not just one or two. Wifey enjoyed the largest Sope con Pollo she has ever had, and loved every bite...

This is a very popular place with the locals. In a restaurant with about 40+ Friday night diners, my Wifey and I were the only Anglos in there, and that heightened the anticipation for their comida. Patience paid off amazingly, because this was some of the most incredible Mex we've had in Central WA. I ordered Chicharrones in Salsa Verde, and that's something you are not going to find in your favorite gringo Mex joint when you take grandma out to lunch. Spec-tac-ular. Be advised, the verde sauce here is not just hot--it's wicked hot. And they give you an ample amount of fresh made tortillas for your meal, not just one or two. Wifey was in her happy place with what they call a Super Sope. It was plate-sized, and the marinated chicken was absolutely delicious. Everything was so, so fresh. You will wait for your meal, but so was everyone else. What a truly satisfying first experience in this town...

Great place the tacos are the best and I recommend the tacos de birra and some aguas frescas bit over priced but worth it and depends the time you go in the food would either be nice snd hot or cold and people saying the customer service was bad but I've been there so many times and I never had a problem

Real authentic Mexican restaurant just wish it was a little bigger felt a little crowded but other than that awesome place

My Spanish is barely passable, but they got someone from the back to confirm my order in English. The food was excellent, the gordita was one of the best I've ever had!
