Clarion Suites Riverfront - Oswego

We stayed here for a baseball tournament and found the location to be very convenient, close to everything we needed. The hotel restaurant was quite good, although the server at the outdoor bar seemed to be more focused on her friends than other customers. Prices were reasonable, though. The bathroom was extremely small—be careful, as someone opening the door could definitely catch you off guard! However, our room was clean and met our needs. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the cleaning crew, who were always in the hallways and eager to assist.

When I awoke the next morning, I discovered numerous food and blood stains on my sheets and mattress. Normally, I check the bedding in any hotel, but I was extremely tired after our water park adventure. Upon checking out, I was informed that a manager would be in contact with me, but I never heard from anyone. I waited for a while, understanding how busy things can get. When I called a week later, I was told they had offered me a $21 discount. I am truly disappointed, especially given how much I spent on my stay and the lack of follow-up from management. I will definitely return to the water park, but I will not be staying at this hotel again.

This hotel offers the essentials for a comfortable stay. The cleanliness was commendable, and the staff was quite friendly. However, my main complaint was the noise from traffic outside, which made it difficult to keep the window open. If you decide to dine at the restaurant downstairs, I advise against ordering the Cuban sandwich, as it caused me food poisoning. Overall, I would rate the rooms a 3 out of 5.

Clean, quiet, good breakfast. Friendly staff. What more could you want? Ok. Review wants more words. We were in Oswego for a reminiscence trip 40+ years after we graduated. Fun looking around at what has changed and what is still the same. Certainly never stayed a decent hotel here!!

It is a simple but nice hotel. The room was clean. The bathroom was in good condition, clean and pretty. It is comfortable. The hotel has a very fun indoor pool, has an arcade and restaurants. Behind the hotel you can see the lake. Parking is free.Rooms: 5/5
