Café Brasserie 't Teugsje - Ostende

One of the most pleasant Ostende brewery located on Mijnplein. This place has two advantages: it is a little less assailed by tourists than the main square and it is in the morning exposed full sun. The accustomed people in the city are not mistaken and this terrace (as soon as the sun is present) does not fade and it is not uncommon to see the customers wait upright that a table is released. The map is classic for this type of establishment and executed correctly. The prices are reasonable especially if you opt for the (all) small catering with a crunch gentleman at 5€!! A special mention for the efficiency and friendliness of the staff who brings an extra star (I put 3). What's safe, you won't be disappointed. Bravo also for small individual parasols and the small glass of gaspacho offered in amused mouth is nice!

I live in Ostend for 9 years and it is a very nice coffee, very clean, with very beautiful terraces. Very fresh and very well served products. Styled and very well chosen staff. We're coming, but we're back. Léon

I can give this place a very good 5 star for the very nice portions of really delicious food and good service. Despite it was fully booked we were seated without pre booking right after the other guests left the dinner, waiting a total of 10 minutes. Out of all the dishes the fish and the shrimps were the favourites. Also I really enjoyed here very nice soft and crispy belgian fries. It was cooked the right way and tasted as it should. The choice of beers was a surprise: over 10 of them in total. My visit here with a family of 4, ordering 4 main courses with fries, 1 salad, 5 beers and 2 juices was worth a total of 175 Euro. The economy parking right next to the place was a plus.

The ladies are quite nice, but very rude male staff! Because of the outrageous, cheeky behavior we didn't even want to eat there!
