Dairy Queen - OSSEO

Yeah, I 'd definitely head to McDonald 's or something instead. I stopped at the drive-thru on my way down I-94 for a cheeseburger combo. The fries were not even lukewarm and also not cooked all the way through...basically inedible. The burger was somewhat warm, but also kind of burnt...so edible, but not great. I would have definitely brought the fries back, but I was already on the freeway before I realized how bad they were. Stupidly, I stopped at the same location on my way north the next day to get gas and thought that I only wanted a dilly bar--not like they can mess that up, right. I went inside and it was pretty busy, but it looked like there were about 10 teenagers working there. I paid for my dilly bar, the teenager behind the counter handed me my change and then wandered away without saying anything. There were lots of people waiting for food, but I figured she 'd just go grab it out of the freezer. Nope, she just started talking with co-workers. I was asked several times if this blizzard or that food coming out of the pass were for me. I several times told the workers No, I 'm just waiting for a dilly bar. Finally after about 5 minutes, the worker who had taken my order asked me what I was waiting for so I again said a dilly bar. She says, Oh, you just grab those out of the freezer behind you. Um, okay...how in the heck would I have known that?!? Every other Dairy Queen I 've ever been to has just handed them to you. I think their only saving grace is that most people probably don 't check Yelp before stopping at a Dairy Queen, but I definitely will not be stopping again.

Dirtiest DQ I've ever been in! Keep on driving. There are much better places to stop.

Who forced these teenagers to work here? It was so clear that they wanted to die by their lack of expression, and deadpan monotonous voices. The cashier didn 't greet me. She simply stared at me and waited for me to speak. She also cut me off after I listed my first item as if she was about to tell me the total, so I had to talk over her to finish my order. Her makeup was so smudged under her eyes, I wondered if she had been crying for hours before going to work. Maybe she smoked a whole bowl before her shift? Is that town really that terrible? Is this some kind of boot camp community service job for them? What 's going on at home? Does the cashier need counseling for a serious depressive disorder that 's going unnoticed? I 'm wondering about how the employees are treated here. I have so many questions. It was so dead in there I almost busted out laughing. One girl did not switch her gloves when going from cleaning behind equipment to making orders. THAT is my reason for one star. I cannot stand it when people can 't even meet basic cleanliness standards. I used to work in food service, and it 's something everyone should value. Depressive, lifeless employees with no will to live, and that 's coming from someone who loves cynical employees. I don 't need spotless customer service, but some basic human kindness would have been nice. Please tell them to at least make eye contact and teach them basic can I take your order? They don 't even have to smile. No sense of urgency.

We just had a horrible customer experience that we felt you should be made aware of. During a trip, my boyfriend and I made a stop at the Osseo WI location drive thru where he ordered a Large Blizzard and and Buffalo Chicken Wrap. The blizzard came out in a timely fashion.. We waited. Saw the staff standing around.. Waited. They saw us waiting and ignored us. Two other cars in the drive thru backed up and left. We opened the drive thru window and asked about the food.. They walked to the back and we waited. They came back with out food. So we waited. Finally the shift manager Tia came out and handed him the food without saying anything. When I asked what took so long she just said we were busy. I asked her name and we drove off. Beyond rude and a nearly 22 minute wait..

Don't come here for a quick meal. They are slow and will probably get your order wrong. I ordered a medium orange Julius and she gave me a small. When I asked her if what she handed me was a medium she said yes. I looked at the sign and it was in fact a small. I showed her the sign and she then made me a new one. Do yourself a favor and drive on by this place. I'll never come back.
