Frankie's Italian - Osprey

Always fantastic ! The owner who often goes by the name Frankie cares. Cares about the food, her staff, her customers. Frankie cares and serves delicious food. Not for nothing it is also the best Pizza in Sarasota County.

Great pizza, lasagna to die for, and the best fish and chips I've ever had. Friendly staff and owner. Great atmosphere. Love this place. Will be going often. Wheelchair accessibility: Booths or tables. The staff just moves a chair for me and I roll right up to the table.

I've gone there to have the 2 slice pizza deal w a drink. The pizza is fair but misses the mark for being good due to 2 areas....1. is it has very little sauce so it's kind of dry and 2. The cheese doesn't have the stringy texture that pizza lovers tend to crave....not sure if it's really mozzerella cheese. Plus when I asked for extra cheese, he/she just plopped a bunch of cheese on it in 1 area instead of spreading it around which left it half melted.

Ordered Ravioli w/Meat Sauce, picked up on my way home from work. Never again! Ravioli was hard and cold, meat sauce was hot so apparenly they were to busy to boil the frozen ravioli. Very upsetting considering this WAS 1 of my favorite places!

A solid choice for a Wednesday night. Good food, a friendly staff, and reasonable prices. Frankie's had become our go-to Italian restaurant.
