Applebee's Oshkosh

We have been to several Applebee's restaurants, but this particular location really knows how to deliver. Their portions are generous and the food is delicious.

I ate two of my grandson and it was great. We had Nachos for appetizers and it was great. I ordered ribs and they were great. The boys loved the Mac and cheese. The waiter was Jay and the service was great.

During the late weekend, the restaurant was not very busy. The waiter was attentive and the food was delicious and finished quickly.

Hostess could have had a better setting (laughers are free you know). Had to wait a little longer than you would like to get water at the beginning, but given the current state of the restaurants, it is understandable to find enough workers. Waitress was very attentive after that. Spinach and artichoke dip was a thin/runny not creamy. Mozzarella sticks were good. Oriental chicken wrap (smoking) was good, but you need after dressing and without it, the wrap was dry. My son's burger looked fantastic. The frits are good, overall good experience.

I arrived at this restaurant about an hour before closing time, expecting the staff to be tired and less lively. However, I was pleasantly surprised by their excellent service. I ordered the $8.99 grilled chicken spinach bowl special, which had a bold flavor and was served quickly. The portion size was sufficient and Jay K, our waiter, did a great job. My only complaint is that the meal did not look like the picture.
