Shoeless Joe's - Oshawa

Second time I have been there and won't ever go back. Philly steak and cheese was so small my husband could have ate 2. I had a mixed salad and the beets where raw. I was crunching them like a carrot.The service is the slowest you'll see. Once we got our meal we never saw the waitress again till we grabbed her for the bill.The bill for a small sandwich,mixed salad and a ice tea came to over 30.00. Not cheap eats

I visited the restaurant on Father's Day hoping for a special menu, but was disappointed to find none. The food was average at best and the waitress seemed uninterested. Despite the kids eat free promotion on Sundays, the bill did not reflect the deduction for my child's meal. It was only after waiting for the supervisor to make the adjustment that it was corrected. This location of Shoeless Joe's, which used to be a favorite of mine, appears to be declining rapidly. Additionally, the Courtice location was closed with a notice indicating rent issues with the owner. I am now hesitant to return to the Taunton location.

My girlfriend and I were there for a quick bite last night. We arrived at six and our drinks came. We ordered wraps and fries. Not too difficult. At seven we needed to leave but our server was not around. She had not checked on us in 45 minutes. When I finally made eye contact she said "did you not get your food yet?" I'm sure she forgot to put our order in to the kitchen. We asked for the bill for the wine and to cancel the food which she promptly did without issue. No apology from management. The server wished us a good evening on the way out - what? We missed our dinner!?! We ate a bag of chips at the event we were attending. WORST SERVICE EVER!

Have been many times, but hadn't been there for some time. As always like I remember, service and food were excellent. They have added more BIG SCREENS to watch sport's.

I'm not sure if its a good thing or a bad thing that this is the 2nd night in a row that all other choice restaurants in Oshawa are full and Shoeless Joe's had room for us but it was a good meal. Staff was quick with drinks and food. Salads and wraps were served quickly and were good. We were in and out quickly.
