Harvey's - Oshawa

The burgers at Harvey's have declined in quality. I used to love them, but now they are just average. Additionally, I received a frozen lemonade instead of the regular brisk lemonade that I had ordered, but I didn't bother arguing since it was only a $0.50 difference.

Growing up I loved Harvey's, they had great burgers, fresh cut fries and onion rings. These days the quality seems to have gone down a lot. I recently tried their Angus Burger and it was horrible. Overcooked, dry and just didn't taste good. The fries and onion rings were nowhere near as good as they used to be; both were dark and oily, probably due to old oil.They even moved away from the classic toppings setup where they had stainless steel bowls full of your favourite fresh toppings. Now they have a set up similar to Subway, trays embedded into the counter, toppings crammed in deep steel trays. Just not as much fun or appetizing. Maybe it's nostalgia, maybe it's just this location... but I was really disappointed and I don't think I'll be going back.

It was so close to lunch that we decided to eat out. We haven't been to a Harvey's in a long long time. We both had the Angus Beef Burger. It was really good. Will definitely return.

The Angus Burger at this location is excellent. Restaurant is very clean. Staff and service was very good. Burger was cooked very well. They have very good condiments. They also offer bottled water which is very nice. Onion rings were also very good.

I used to love Harvey's. This location specifically I watched the team forget about a burger patty on the warmer for some time. The patty you could see had turned cold. The worker noticed, placed the patty on the grill cheese side down to remove the cheese. Then he flipped it, added new cheese, and used it on a burger. Also, Red onions and massive leafs of lettuce are not likable on a burger. I've stopped eating her solely due to these changes.
