East Side Mario's Oshawa Gibb

We are fans of East Side's, but our recent visit was not up to par. We had to wait 35 minutes for our main course and felt neglected by our server once a large group of over 20 people arrived. Despite these issues, the food was delicious. We hope that our next visit will be a better experience.

Absolutely terrible service! Our meals took over an hour to arrive and we never even received our salads. To make matters worse, they completely messed up our order. The pasta was undercooked and had very little sauce, making it inedible for my daughter. It took an eternity for them to bring out desserts for the kids. We will never be dining there again. I would rather eat at a food court. Eat at your own risk here. I wish I could give negative stars!

I am giving this terrible restaurant one star. The only reason it is getting a star is because Jewel, our server, was outstanding. Where do I even begin? The place was dirty, with tables not being cleared. When we sat down, there were no plates or silverware. The food was absolutely awful. My son's Chicken Parmesan was undercooked, burnt on the outside and pink on the inside. My cappelletti was dry and flavorless. My husband's seafood pasta was also terrible, with dried out clams and flavorless, tiny scallops. The prices were outrageous and not worth it for a family. I was even charged extra for bacon in my all-you-can-eat Caesar salad. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We called last minute hoping to make a reservation within the last hour of service ???? hated doing that). Our server was AMAZING...she was so kind and accommodating. Even tho we came in way to close to closing time sorry again) she did such awonderful job taking care of us for our sons birthday. Maddi deserves recognition for her top notch service tonight...She evenmade him a special customized dessert!!!!! Thanks again!!!!

Loves this place at 471 Gibb in Oshawa. Jen took care of us for my son's birthday dinner. Super friendly and very attentive. The food was great and it was a wonderful atmosphere. Nice for a change in this modern looking and clean restaurant. I appreciated her when she helped to feel my son special and receive us while she was busy with other guests. Kind regards to the door and server work as a team by helping each other. This is definitely the best place I have visited so far. Thanks to Jen, staff and management for a nice evening.
