Its the best Buffett around for 45 miles. The food was all a little cold though. The dessert bar had two different cakes, three different pies and cobbler. There is also soft serve Ice cream. Food a plenty. Sweet and sour chicken, beef pot roast, red potatoes and mashed, country and brown gravey, mixed veggies, pizza and BBq suasages. Salad bar here is great. The server checked on us three times and the place is clean. Summery: food all a little cold with lots of choices in a clean and pleasent atmosphere with great service.
The seafood night is always good and the line is ALWAYS long but worth the wait. We got here around 6:45 last night so it wasn't too bad. I was hoping for prime rib but they did have a delicious strip steak. The crab legs were cooked just right and the staff kept the bins filled. Their peel and eat shrimp were awesome and really really big! We love coming here and Hubby and I will continue to make this a regular stop when traveling to Minnesota! :
Really decent breakfast buffet for the price! The omelette station was great with many choices. The best part is someone makes it for you so no skill required, just tough decisions regarding how much you can fit in the tiny bowl. The hash brown casserole was delicious and creamy but could have been a bit warmer. The options were plentiful and tasty and staff was attentive. The only downside was that even though it's a no smoking area of the casino you still smell some smoke so if you are sensitive to the smell you may wanna skip this stop. Didn't try lunch or dinner so I can't speak on that. They also have truck parking!
Saturday night about an hour wait. We didnt mind too much. They seated us and took our drink order (by then we were extremely thirsty) and we headed to the buffet. There wasn't much left of the salad bar foods were mixed and also everywhere on the bar and the floor so salad bar was inedible. Got some onion rings, cheese sticks etc but the food was very old and dried out and we couldn't eat because we were so thirsty. Finally drinks come we order refills immediately which never came. We all tried eating a couple different items and I'm not exaggerating when I say food out of a dumpster may be safer to eat. The cakes were empty or dried out and cobblers were so old they were burnt and completely stuck to pans. We had actually invited another couple and embarrassed would be an understatement more like mortified. We congregated at the table and discussed the fact that there was almost no way one or all of us wouldn't be sick from the disgusting old food.. and then were forced to pay $80 to endure this nightmare.. so basically the drinks and ice cream (vanilla was out of service) that seemed consumable. This place is a joke. We felt completely ripped off and now we hope no one has food poisoning. What a disgrace, I think a visit from the health inspector is warranted.
