Bidrage med feedbackAlhamdulillah for a fully halal Japanese food (no alcohol or pork) restaurant in the heart of Dotonbori. The restaurant is clearly signed/marked and easy to find. We came around 5 minutes after its opening for dinner, on a weekday night, and there was already a crowd! So expect to wait a little. Food was a little slow (almost an hour). I would make a reservation if you have a large group. Taste wise we had the Special Ramen Naniwaya Set, Curry Chicken Rice, and Wagyu Yakiniku. 4/5 for taste, the wagyu could be more tender but the taste was good. A tiny bit disappointed that the matcha ice cream was vanilla ice cream powdered with a little matcha rather than mixed into the ice cream, but maybe that’s how it is here. The ramen is okay, but not amazing. The curry chicken was alright, could do with more flavour. Portion wise Medium is for 1 person! I’d recommended getting one meal per person and if you’re hungry upsize to a Large! Price wise spent around ¥1900 each person. There is also a small prayer room with a small wudhu area for salah.
Certainly tanpa cela.. Located very near with dotombori district, quite easy to find. I came with family and order all type of ramen here (miso, shoyu, and spicy miso).. all delicious. So authentic. I came the following day and tried all type of rice menu (chicken rice, wagyu rice, and spicy chicken curry), and again.. all delicious.. there is no sign of which dish is recommended, because all are recommended.. Small Praying room also available..
I came here to try because of the halal status. One of halal ramen near namba. But very disappointed with the services. I have to wait 50 minutes to get my ramen and the ladies waitress too slow and a bit blur about what we ordered. We order drink but the drinks only came after we finished eating. For me the taste of the ramen not really good. Not 100% like Japanese ramen more like instant noodles. Chicken inside the ramen also not fully cooked. Price also a bit pricey.
Only visit this place if you have no other option. Very disappointed to find that ramen outside Japan would taste so much better than ramen in Japan. The cost is higher than average due to the cost of halal ingredients. Please take note that they are using authentic halal ingredients with good quality. HOWEVER, they are not using any recipe that is Japanese. The soup can be compared to instant noodle flavours. The noodles had a good texture but, zero tastein the soup. Vegetable toppings were bland. Pickled menma was definitely pre made. The ramen egg was overcooked with a dry yolk. 1) The queue was very long. Waited 30 minutes. 2) After queueing for 30 minutes we were seated. We had to wait an additional 30 minutes- 1 hour before getting our food. 3) we ordered 3 different ramen dishes, all 3 we're badly seasoned and bland. 4) Missing items that the waiters forgot about. 5) The waiter brought another spicy one we did not order after we finished eating. 6) People who enjoyed eating at this establishment have not had any proper ramen and should not benchmark this as a good experience worth queuing for.
If you’re searching halal ramen in Osaka, search no more. Tasty, flavorful and perfectly portioned with great price. The staff can speak japanese, english indonesian, so it’s foreigner friendly too, which kinda hard to find in Japan. A muslim prayer room is also available. We’ve tried their spicy miso ramen miso ramen. The spicy miso ramen is quite spicy, so if you’re not used to eat spicy food, you better off with the normal miso ramen one. For us it was perfect though, so not really an issue. We also tried their gyoza (fried dumpling), it was handmade and was made with chicken meat. That was really important for us since almost every gyoza stand in Osaka sell gyoza with pork filling. The gyoza itself was tasty. Overall, we were satisfied with the food and the service. We will come back soon before we return to our country also share this to our friends who are in search of halal ramen in Osaka.
