Bidrage med feedbackGreat place to a delicious Okonomiyaki or Negiyaki, the leek variation. The place is very popular and the waiting period can be quite long and you need to wait outside. However, while you wait, you will get a menu to choose your meal and you are invited as soon as your food is ready. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is beautiful and cozy and the staff is of course polite and attentive. A great culinary experience and a great memory.
The best Okonomiyaki I've ever had. I waited from 5:00 so it didn't take me too long for a seat. The staff made all okonomiyaki before me, just like a show. All staff were friendly and nice. I tried to buy okonomiyaki, egg roll, beef and recommended drink. The beef was nice and the egg roll tasted quite soft. The Okonomiyaki was a bit salty, but I think it's the taste of Japan. I enjoyed the meal with the drink. Thanks for the hospitality of Fukutaro.
Been coming here for years and have seen how the place has become immensely popular with longer wait times than ever. Seating is ether at the Okonomiyaki grill or individual tables at the back. There’s an on going “war” between Osaka and Hiroshima as to which Okonomiyaki is the best. The two cities prepare them slightly differently and it’s split right down the middle as far as choices are concerned. The choices for Okonomiyaki here are good, with pork, seafood or even beef available. You could also order the Negiyaki and complement these with a Yakisoba or Fried Udon. Other smaller bites are available in the form of grilled chicken and more. Very reasonably priced, and it’s my go-to at least once every time I’m in Osaka. Location is between Namba station and Kuromon Market, just after the Lawson convenience store.
It’s a very local place and the food are delicious. You need to sign your name on the board first because there are always a queue outside the shop. They allow you to take orders and you will get your food as soon as you sit down. Portion is quite big and I don’t suggest to order too much (more than 4dish) for two people. Salad bowl isn’t small neither. It’s Japanese tradition not to have leftover food on the table and it’s better to order 2-3dishes first. The price is very reasonable in this area.
I’d never tasted such delicious Okonomiyaki before. Far better than other chain Okonomiyaki restaurants.
